Environmental Scientist I-II
Summary: The Environmental Scientist will be responsible for performing field investigations and preparing technical reports for a wide variety of project types across Texas. This position will work in a collaborative, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment and will represent the Quiddity brand and culture both internally and externally. Responsibilities: + Performs preliminary desktop reviews. + Develops safety plans. + Performs field investigations to support technical studies/reports (waters of the U.S. and wetland delineations, habitat assessments, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments). + Prepares technical reports. + Performs as-needed field inspections to support construction projects. + Other duties and responsibilities as required. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, geology, biology, forestry, natural resources, or related discipline. + 0-4 years’ experience. + WPIT and/or AWB certification a plus. + Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills. + Can work flexible schedules and overtime as required to support project requirements. + Valid Texas Driver’s License.
