Through ASRC, we are a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), and we also offer 8(a) options. **Position Summary** RSI is recruiting an early-career environmental scientist with rigorous attention to detail to join our environmental services team to plan, evaluate, and execute soil, groundwater, surface water, and/or waste sampling activities on the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Reservation. The successful candidate will support the team in planning, developing and implementing environmental sampling activities as part of the CERCLA process, ultimately working to restore the Oak Ridge Reservation to beneficial re-use. The primary planning/organizing/execution element of this support is through the Sample Request process. That process/document ensures consistent workflows for project planning, collection, and data management; and that timely support can be provided to the requesting projects. It is the main organizational tool for communicating needs/deliverables throughout.
