This position conducts environmental site assessments (Phase I/II ESA studies); groundwater and soil investigations; underground storage tank assessments; and remediation assessments.  This position also supports project work in San Antonio and the surrounding areas by working with the TCEQ, EAA, and other local regulatory agencies on various public and private development projects in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws.

Responsibilities Perform and coordinate environmental projects, site investigations, assessments, environmental contaminant remediation, regulatory compliance and related projectsConduct and prepare Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, site remediation, soil and groundwater investigations, underground storage tank (UST) assessments, and/or other regulatory reporting including Affected Property Assessment Reports (APARs), Response Action Plans (RAPs), Response Action Completion Reports (RACRs), Subchapter T Permitting and Work Plans, and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) PlansEvaluate data, perform analysis, interpretation and report preparationPrepare work scopes, proposals, reports and project deliverables Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in environmental science, geology, or a related earth sciences degree;At least 5 years' experience in environmental consulting in environmental science, geology, engineering and/or related experience with Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) knowledgeCurrent OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certificationMust have excellent writing and oral communication skillsMust be detail oriented, team player with good communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skillsWorking knowledge of MS Word and ExcelExperience with AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS experience desiredLocal experience preferredMust be able to work in all types of weather and field conditionsMust be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime Preferred Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS experience desiredLocal experience preferred
