Position Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeping) to join our team! The Environmental Services Associate performs general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, restrooms, sterile areas, floors, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the hospital. This is a fulltime position, working Mon-Fri and rotating weekends.

 

Responsibilities

Conducts job duties in accordance with departmental proceduresFills and cleans dispensers, maintains and replenishes supplies, and mixes chemicals as necessary Properly cleans equipmentMaintain accurate records of all department check-off listsMaintain housekeeping closetAdvises supervisor of any equipment problemsComplies with hospital, departmental, and unit standards, including but not limited to safety, infection control, quality management, environmental, confidentiality, and patient careIdentifies changes/abnormal findings in department and communicates these to appropriate personnel

 

Qualifications

High School Diploma, or equivalent preferredHousekeeping experience in a hospital setting preferred
