**Responsibilities/Job Description** + Supervises condition of & forecasts need for repairs/ replacement of HVAC, energy management, life safety, security, fire, elevators, electrical and plumbing systems + Coordinates purchasing activities for maintenance and housekeeping supplies within budgetary guidelines and oversees payment of bills per facility practices + Hire and train/coach maintenance and housekeeping staff + Schedule staff and manage daily workload (as needed) for the timely completion of work orders and apartment turnovers + Ensures timely and efficient turnover of apartments + Promotes a safe environment for staff, tenants and visitors + Conducts and tracks community emergency drills + Leads or co-leads Safety Committee per facility guidelines **Qualifications** **Required:** + Current Driver’s License (in good standing) + Three to five yearsof previous experience + High school Diploma/GED **Preferred:** + Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree – Industrial energy or related field + Five to ten yearsof previous experience **Need help finding the right job?** We can recommend jobs specifically for you!
