We are looking for an Environmental Services Director for our Senior Living Community in Grand Rapids, MN.  This leadership position provides general oversight and maintenance of property (building & grounds) including all major utility, life safety, and security systems. Supervises maintenance and housekeeping staff. Ensures 24/7 emergency on-call response per rotating schedule. The Environmental Services Director schedule includes;

Responsibilities/Job Description Supervises condition of & forecasts need for repairs/ replacement of HVAC, energy management, life safety, security, fire, elevators, electrical and plumbing systemsCoordinates purchasing activities for maintenance and housekeeping supplies within budgetary guidelines and oversees payment of bills per facility practicesHire and train/coach maintenance and housekeeping staffSchedule staff and manage daily workload (as needed) for the timely completion of work orders and apartment turnoversEnsures timely and efficient turnover of apartmentsPromotes a safe environment for staff, tenants and visitorsConducts and tracks community emergency drillsLeads or co-leads Safety Committee per facility guidelines Qualifications

Required:

Current Driver’s License (in good standing) 

Special Class C Boiler Operator’s License or the ability to obtain within

90 days of hire

Three to five years of previous experienceHigh school Diploma/GED

Preferred:
