Environmental Services EVS Manager
**Job Description** **$3,000 Sign On Bonus** Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an EVS Manager for Holland Hospital in Holland, MI. **2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm** The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for developing and executing facility and housekeeping solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met. Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications. Leads the operations of facility accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations. **Job Responsibilities** + Provides direct daily supervision for up to 23 Housekeeping Services FTE. + Conducts quality audits of work completed by Housekeeping Services Assistants (general cleaning) and Housekeeping Services Technicians (Floor Care) using established criteria. Utilizes quality audits as a tool in the training process. Ensures deficiencies are corrected "on the spot" whenever possible. Provides immediate feedback to staff regarding completed audits. Utilizes quality audits to create floor care project calendar. + Conducts interviews of Housekeeping Services Assistant and Technician candidates, including phone and initial on-site interviews. Makes hiring recommendations to General Manager and client Human Resources. + Writes initial and annual performance appraisals for all assigned staff and submits to General Manager for review /approval. Recommends counseling and corrective action for assigned staff, as needed. + Maintains days off roster, processes Paid Time Off (PTO) requests and tracks absences (UTO) to ensure compliance with attendance policy. Adjusts staffing levels based on census. Adjust work assignments based on staffing levels. Maintains payroll expenses at assigned FTE level. + Conducts department training activities in areas of work assignments, supplies, equipment, safety, policy and procedures. Develops and maintains yearly training calendar with assistance of General Manager. Assists with development and execution of in-service meetings/activities. Requires up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred ?
