Job Title: Environmental Services

Salary: $22.00 per hour

Reports To: Environmental Services Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Part-time)

We’ll be hosting multiple 30-minute sessions via Microsoft Teams where you’ll hear all about the position, its responsibilities, and what it’s like working at ASM Global. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any questions about the role, the team, or the application process.

About the Role:

As a part of the Environmental Services team at the Long Beach Convention Center, you’ll be responsible for keeping the facility clean during and after events. This includes performing a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are properly maintained, and following safety protocols when using cleaning supplies. If you’re organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you!

Key Responsibilities Include:

Cleaning assigned areas and completing tasks during and after events

Using cleaning chemicals and materials according to safety guidelines

Supervising team members and ensuring assignments are completed

Reporting equipment issues or low supplies

Adhering to facility dress code and safety standards

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or GED required

1-2 years of housekeeping or custodial experience preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various conditions

Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Supervisory experience is a plus
