Environmental Services Tech II.This role is ideal for a candidate who are ready to be more active on the job, as it involves heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and floor maintenance tasks.Floor maintenance.Position Summary:
Provides a clean and safe work environment for patients, visitors, hospital staff and self. Cleans patient care, public, clinical, and office areas using chemicals and manual/electrical floor care equipment.

Clean walls, stairwells, and elevators.Remove and re-hang curtains.Respond to service calls and other requests.Perform various restorative floor care tasks.Operate basic functions of a pager and phone system.Use floor scrubbers and carpet extractors as needed.Strip wax, scrub, and recoat all types of hard flooring.Retrieve beds from different areas of the hospital and transport them to patient rooms.What you will need:
Ability to treat each patient, visitor, and employee in a courteous and compassionate manner.Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions, receive and understand directions. Ability to adjust to changing conditions and varied workloads.Preferred: Customer service training or environmental services experience in hotel, recreation, or healthcare housekeeping industryHigh School diploma or GED not required.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
