Full-time, Evening / Swing Shift position (40 hrs/wk)Provides leadership, planning and day-to-day coordination for Environmental Services department and Linen Services. Maintains the standards of cleanliness and appearance as established by the facility and regulatory standards.

Entry Rate: Depending on experience PLUS differentialsShift Details: Evening Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) with occasional Holidays and Weekends. Will be responsible to respond to after-hours emergencies or cover shifts missed by supervisors.Department: Environmental Services - Intermountain Medical Center.Additional Details: Associate's Degree or higher preferred but not required.Essential Functions
Coordinates department day-to-day operations, staff and resources to ensure hospital standards of cleanliness, sanitation and appearance are met.Responsible for hiring, orienting, staff development, education, and performance management. Builds a cohesive team and promotes employee engagement.Ensures department operates according to Intermountain policies / procedures and other regulatory agencies including Joint Commission and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)Ensures department follows EVS system standard processes, guidelines, and suppliesMonitors customer / patient satisfaction scores. Develops and implements plans to achieve desired outcomesManages operating expenses for Environmental Services and Linen. Uses resources effectively and manages expenses to meet financial goalsPerforms cleaning duties as needed based on staffing, patient loads, and time constraintsMay include responsibility for linen services May be asked to fill in for vacant manager positions as neededMay be at a critical access hospital/care site or as part of the leadership team at a larger care siteSkills

Demonstrated leadership experience, including effective coaching, team building, and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrated ability to plan, organize, supervise, and delegate for a facility requiring services 24 hours per day, seven days per weekDemonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and the ability to learn new softwareDemonstrated experience in Environmental Services in a hospital setting (preferred)Physical Requirements:
