Please note that this opportunity is full-time, 40 hours per week.

 

The ES Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing on all aspects of housekeeping and cleanliness of St. John's Meadows and Brickstone facilities. The ES Manager will ensure residents are receiving the highest quality of housekeeping services possible as well as ensuring all common areas are kept clean, well maintained and in exceptional condition. The ES manager will drive resident and employee satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

Lead the Environmental Services staff - coach and develop staff, hire new staff and provide necessary training. Manage relationship with on-site environmental services providerAssist in developing budgets and remaining within internal cost controls.Schedule staff, order supplies, manage inventory control and billing. 

 

Qualifications

College degree preferred.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in environmental services required.Minimum of two (2) years of experience in supervisory/management role required. Minimum of one (1) year experience working in senior living community or similar required.Experience in leading a diverse team of employees.Financial and planning skillsAbility to interact with senior residents with various needs and communication styles.Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adjust schedules to meet needs of existing and new residents.Requires tact and courtesy, ability to read, write and speak English, and follow written and oral instructions in English.Basic computer knowledge.Willingness to embrace and exemplify St. John's Brand Characteristics: embrace living by being Friendly, Respectful, Responsive, Compassionate, Innovative and Fun toward residents, families, visitors and colleagues.
