Cleveland Clinic's Environmental Services Department is consistently among the highest-performing EVS teams in healthcare, and we're looking to add an Environmental Services Supervisor to our team to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect. **A caregiver in this position works nights, 2:30pm - 11:00pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Supervise the technical and administrative functions of the Environmental Services department. + Act as a technical resource for team members. + Implement goals consistent with assigned clinical and non-clinical units. + Provide effective utilization of personnel, policies, and procedures in order to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment. + Supervise caregivers in daily operations and evaluate performance. + Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure high quality of cleaning and maintenance is being performed. + Maintain staffing levels. + Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests. + Ensure cross coverage. + Coordinate and provide orientation, education and training. + Improve procedures and processes. + Analyze workflow and procedures. + Identify and implement opportunities to improve speed, quality and effectiveness. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + A high school diploma or GED + Three years of experience as a work leader, team lead or project manager OR one year of supervisory experience in a related field OR a bachelor's degree. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Previous environmental services or housekeeping experience Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
