The successful candidate:
Hours: 1st shift 8:00am - 4:30pm and every other Saturday.
Overview: The Environmental Services Technician is a vital member of the City of Hope Environmental Services team. This role is responsible for performing standard cleaning procedures to provide non-medical sanitation support in assigned hospital units. The technician operates equipment and uses necessary tools, products, and supplies to complete general cleaning duties, aiming to create a safe and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning light fixtures and furniture, and emptying trash.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
