Visit dignityhealth.org/northridgehospital for more information. **Environmental Services Associate** **Northridge Hospital Medical Center** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientated **Environmental Services Associate** to join our team. The **Environmental Services Associate** will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our healthcare facility which is essential to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained. **Our Benefits:** + Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. + Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education. + Access to cutting-edge medical resources and technology. + Supportive and collaborative work environment. + Paid time off and holiday benefits. **Responsibilities** + Clean and sanitize patient rooms common areas and other areas of the facility + Follow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and procedures + Collect and dispose of waste biohazardous waste and linens + Stock and maintain supplied in patient rooms and common areas + Respond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staff + You may operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment. **Qualifications** + High school diploma and/or GED education. + Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral and written instructions. + Able to read and write, use simple arithmetic, keep simple records, or use simple office machines. + Minimum 6 months of janitorial experience in Healthcare or Nursing Home preferred. + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. + Must maintain a current Fire Safety card. **This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.** **Pay Range** $23.00 - $23.91 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
