Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with site operators to efficiently manage the soil treatment process, which includes screening, bioremediation agent application and processing of all contaminated soil
Preparing all soil samples for third-party chemical analysis and coordinating with accredited laboratories
Reviewing all certificates of analysis and managing all data and invoices relating to soil analysis reports
Overseeing the construction and deconstruction of biopiles (processed soil)
Biopile monitoring with the use of soil testing equipment
Implementing and enforcing all standard operating procedures and corporate policies
Ensuring compliance with Environmental Compliance Approvals (or ECAs) across all sites
Conducting daily site inspections and timely rectification of any issues
Must be on-call when necessary
Knowledge, Skill and Competencies:
A college or university degree in environmental science and/or environmental management
Field-experience collecting and organizing soil and water samples
Knowledge of O. Reg 406/19 – On-Site and Excess Soil Management
Effective communication and organizational skills
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) as an effective tool in database management
Independent critical thinking and the ability to effectively collaborate with team members
Daily travel required - must have valid driver's license and access to own vehicle
