Field-based environmental technician position focused on air emissions testing and monitoring at industrial project sites. Regional travel required to client sites during the standard work week. Company vehicle provided for travel, all travel time, expenses and per diem are paid for by company.

Full-time / year-round schedule with consistent overtime available. Entry-level role with established career path and opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities:

Perform air emissions testing and monitoring for a variety of industrial clientsTransport equipment to site using company vehicle, set up and break down of testing equipmentRecord data, collect samplesEquipment calibrationsAssist engineers in air quality testing proceduresEnvironmental, health and safety protocolsOrganize and load testing equipment into vehicles for upcoming jobsMaintenance and cleaning of testing equipmentUsing company resources, gain proficiency in performing EPA Test Methods 1-5

Qualifications:

B.S. in Environmental Science or related field of study preferredPrevious experience working in a field-based capacityPrevious experience using testing instruments to collect samples and record dataMechanical aptitudeAbility to work well in team settingsCandidates must be comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 75 lbs to set up testing equipment
