**POSITION DETAILS**
The EOC Academic Resource Center Coordinator will report to the Associate Director of Student Affairs at Bronx Educational Opportunity Center. ATTAIN (Advanced Technology Training and Information Networking) is a Statewide technology initiative funded by New York State to provide urban and rural communities access to state-of-the-art technology. Through innovative technologies, ATTAIN provides underserved and underprepared community residents the opportunity to access academic, vocational, life skills and workplace readiness training, in coordination with local community-based host institutions. Each ATTAIN lab is a certified Microsoft IT Academy. The EOC Academic Resource Center Coordinator (ARCC) provides on-site facilitation of learning and technical support for the Bronx Educational Opportunity Center (EOC). In coordination with the Bronx Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) and UCAWD ATTAIN Statewide Coordinator, the EOC Academic Resource Center Coordinator works to achieve the outcomes specified in their Implementation Plan.
In addition to the Overview duties, the coordinator will:
Deliver Microsoft certification training to the served populations.
• Assist in the proctoring of certification exams as needed.
• Provide support and supervision for volunteers as required, ensuring their tasks are completed efficiently.
• Document and report participant success stories and outcomes to the EOC and UCAWD, ensuring proper tracking and communication.
• Assist in creating, monitoring, and updating the monthly schedule for lab operations and training sessions, in coordination with the EOC Director and UCAWD ATTAIN Statewide Coordinator.
• Help prepare the lab's implementation plan alongside the EOC Director and ATTAIN Statewide Coordinator, ensuring that objectives are met.
• Support the submission of monthly status reports to the ATTAIN Statewide Coordinators and EOC, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Work closely with the Senior Job Developer to assist in implementing a community outreach and partnership development plan to promote the ATTAIN lab in local communities.
As part of this position, the coordinator is expected to become proficient in the use of ISI courseware (e.g., computer-assisted training resources and any third-party software, obtain and maintain Microsoft certifications related to facilitating training delivered at the lab, and demonstrate progress toward becoming a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). The coordinator will also be required to work some evenings and weekend hours as well as travel locally.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Bachelors' degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Two years of relevant experience with opportunity programs and/or higher education.
+ Experience working with TANF recipients.
+ Microsoft certifications preferred.
+ Experience with curriculum development.
+ Excellent computer skills.
+ Bilingual proficiency preferred.
**CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW**
Provides operational and analytical support for a learning resource center in an Educational Opportunity Center (EOC).
- Assists in providing academic resources such as tutoring, remedial and/or other targeted student support services
- Maintains center records including student files; prepares reports and surveys; collects and maintains statistical data on center activities; updates Center web pages
- Assists with the planning, scheduling and execution of training programs, lectures, workshops, meetings and special events
- Serves as resource for students and faculty on center policies and procedures; conducts basic research as assigned
- May schedule individual and group sessions for students
- May supervise part-time and/or clerical staff; may monitor department budget
- Performs related duties as assigned.

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
**$57,517.00 - $62,689.00;** Commensurate with education and experience.
