Ericsson is looking for Ericsson Order Care Catalog Management System (EOC/ECM) Developer based in Islamabad Pakistan.
What you will do
• As a EOC/ECM Software Developer, work as independently as well as within team setting delivering quality software product using agile methodologies and standard processes while demonstrating strong design & development skills.
• You will also serve as a development and production deployment support resource for Ericsson EOC/ECM Applications and Systems.
• You will work on problems of moderate and varied complexity where analysis of data may require adaptation of standardized practices or precedent.
• As a Software Developer, work as independently as well as within team setting delivering quality software product using agile methodologies and standard processes while demonstrating strong design & development skills.
• Act independently to identify and select appropriate methodologies.
• Normally receive general instructions on non-routine work assignments and will be making decisions independently. You may be assigned multiple tasks or projects that are generally reviewed after completion.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead multi-functional teams
• Communication & stakeholder leadership skills.
• Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve critical issues.
You will bring
• University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2-5 Years of Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis & design
• Able to supervise server Health, Memory Utilization.
• Knowledge of Telecom Industry, Data Structures, OOP, Architecture, WSDL, XSD, and XML.
• Understanding of REST services implementation.
• Experience with WebLogic, Java, Java Script, HTML, XML/HTTP, JSON, REST, SQL
• Solid understanding of integration technologies/frameworks including AXIS, SOAP, JMS, HTTP, Socket, FTP, SMTP/POP, and integration platforms (EAI, ESB, BPI) such as JMS, MQ, WLI and TIBCO
• Interfaces (Web service / MQ / Restful).
• Debug issues reported by users and work with team to fix the issues.
• Telco environments understanding and experience is mandatory.
• Understanding in Dimensioning, Northbound, Southbound Interface and ADM Delivery Management would be a plus.
• Good Database skills.
• Sense of urgency with quality as a key deliverable.
