We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented EOD Team Member to join our team! In this role you will get to build exercises for the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Program in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). **What You'll Be Doing:** + Plan, schedule and manage EOD training events and exercises. Activities include but are not limited to event facilitation, assist in exercise design and development; supervise exercise plan construction, Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) construction; supervise development of control cell instructions and guidance; and perform exercise assessments. + Provide realistic, current, and relevant exercise support to address DTRA, Interagency, Geographic Combatant Command (GCC), Service Component, and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) requirements. + Maintain close coordination with units and organizations on training requirements / objectives throughout the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) from GCCs to tactical units to maintain continuity. + Maintain exercise control support for Observer Controllers (O/C) during execution of events with sufficiently trained and certified personnel. + Attend all exercise JELC events (planning meeting, site surveys, etc.) and assist with scenario development. + Manage and accomplish duties related to analytical research and development of special programs, including those related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) and nuclear weapon accidents and incidents. + Accomplish post-event activities as required, including after action reviews, hot washes, and after-action reports. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor's degree required. Emphasis in emergency management, international relations, political science, or similar disciplines will be given higher consideration. Relevant military, FBI or DoE Energy/NNSA experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. + Active Top-Secret Clearance + Military, civilian, or contractor leadership experience in exercise planning required; experience preferred in developing, planning, participating, and executing Department of Defense, multi-agency/multi-national training events or exercises. + Knowledge in performing training capability or training needs assessments desired. + Must be able to travel unaccompanied to foreign and domestic locations. Travel is 25% or greater and includes travel to national and international locations. + Must have or be able to obtain US Passport. + Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools required. Emphasis placed on PowerPoint, Word, Excel. **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Experience in Operations, Planning or Training / Exercises with the following entities: US European Command (USEUCOM), United States Air Force Europe (USAFE), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries, Department of Energy, Federal Bureau of Investigations, or National Nuclear Security Administration + Experience working with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency preferred + Experience working National Policy preferred. **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Secret This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
