We're searching for a System Administrator Expert in Windows & Linux with Knowledge in Computer Security and Networks
Main tasks
As an experienced System Administrator, focused on Windows & Linux and with skills in IT security and networking, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Linux Server Management:
• Advanced skills in managing Linux servers, including Debian, Ubuntu and Redhat distributions.
Windows Server Management:
• Experience in managing standalone Windows servers and Active Directory.
Enterprise IT Asset Management:
• Oversight of corporate IT assets, including laptops, smartphones, and other devices.
Network Configuration:
• Configure switches and access points with VLAN or 802.1x implementation.
• Configuring LTE routers.
• Implementation of firewall configurations.
Network Services Management:
• Administration of network services such as DNS, DHCP, Certification Authority and VPN servers.
Support to the Development Team:
• Provide system support to the development team.
Safety Responsibilities:
• Conducting Vulnerability Assessments
• Patching and maintaining system security.
• Vulnerability reporting.
IT Support for Monitoring Solutions:
• IT support to the installation team of our monitoring solutions.
Network Troubleshooting:
• Troubleshooting network issues.
Scripting:
• Development and implementation of bash scripts.
Requirements:
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems and LAN/VPN network issues.
• Advanced skills in Windows systems.
• Fluent knowledge of Italian and English.
Plus:
• Knowledge of virtualization environments.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker or equivalent.
