EP China and East Asia (EP CEA) is a fully empowered headquarter organization with full P&L responsibility for China and East Asia market in Electrical Products Business unit. We provide leading products, systems and digital solution for safe and efficient electrical power applications. APT is a business segment of EP CEA, founded in 1993 and became a subsidiary of Siemens in August 2008. The brand name APT is derived from the initials of three English words: Advanced, Perfect, and Top, representing the company's commitment to advanced technology, perfect quality, and top performance. The Tiantai factory is located in Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province, China, focusing on manufacturing a wide range of low-voltage control devices, including push buttons, signal lights, transfer switches, relays, control boxes, current transformers, and limit switches. These products are widely used in various industries such as power, steel, chemical, energy, transportation, food, packaging, and textile.

What is expected?

The Plant Manager of APT Tiantai is expected to oversee all aspects of production operations, ensuring high efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

You'll make an impact by

·         Responsible for the day-to-day management to ensure that factory operation efficiency and effectively, put Environment, Occupational Health and Safety as the top priority, and follow the requirement of Siemens & APT TT Safe Production Responsibility·         Responsible for the coordination and management of factory internal resource to achieve the factory target, and continuous improvement·         From vision to action include setting operation targets, monitoring performance of each department, especially focus on productivity improvement and cost reduction·         Create the environment that care, ensure that necessary competency build up, encourage open communication and foster a positive and collaborative team-work culture·         Stay with industry trends and technologies, implement suitable new technologies and practice to improve productivity, way forward for future factory·         Customer orientation together with front-end quick response to business demand, keep good relationships with supplier especially ODM·         Eagle view of factory compare with competitor to find opportunities and continuous improvement·         Collaborate with different stakeholders, like EP CEA other factories to ensure the continued development of factory

Your defining qualities

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced management degree is a plus. 10+ years of operational experience in international manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics, or related industries, including at least 5 years in senior management roles. Experience in low-voltage electrical operations is preferred; expertise in lean production is essential. Digitalization and project management experience are highly valued. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational success. Results-oriented mindset with a strategic approach to business growth and operational efficiency. Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and transformation. Strong decision-making abilities, adaptability, and expertise in change management. Advanced proficiency in English
