For our Electrophysiology (EP) division, we are recruiting an EP Trainer.
As an EP Trainer, your main responsibilites are:
+ Create and deliver training and education courses for EMEA employees, including technical, clinical, and soft skills training, that ensures entire field staff are well prepared to support physicians.
+ Support customer-facing education programs in EMEA; this includes execution and adaptation of existing programs , but also identification and development of new courses.
+ Ensure clinical culture by updating training material with latest clinical trials and collaborating with clinical department when there are shared projects.
+ Work closely with entire Education Team to define objectives for each new training modules and ensure content aligns with overall program objectives. Ensures Prof Ed workshop format is aligned between EMEA and other regions globally and regionally.
+ Maintain in-depth knowledge of ABBOTT products, therapies, markets, and business objectives.
+ Attend congresses and supports Education Village activities upon request.
+ Establish training project deadlines and takes initiative to ensure deadlines are met.
+ Utilize knowledge gained from education and/or experience, related to medical practice, device technology, development and implementation of training programs, program management and general communication to accomplish job responsibilities.
+ Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
The required skills and experience are:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or equivalent
+ Min. 3 years working experience in the EP field with additional progressive work experience in clinical education or related discipline
+ Clinical knowledge of EP and EP products, and proven work with 3D mapping systems
+ Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
+ Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor.
+ Fluency in English
+ Excellent interpersonal skills combined with public speaking skills
+ Ability to travel 70%.
+ Previous experience in Education and Training would be an asset but is not essential
