EPG Field Technician
EPG Field Technician Vernal, UT Job Type Full-time Description Safely diagnose, maintain and repair natural gas and diesel engines, generators and other related equipment. Repairs will be primarily completed on-site at various gas compression and processing facilities. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Utilize and comply with company and facility safety programs, processes and procedures. + Uphold a CDL, clean MVR, medical card, and a willingness to comply with all DOT mandates and regulations. + Adhere to company and site lock-out-tag-out requirements. + Accurately and effectively identify and order replacement parts and components. + Produce quality repairs while adhering to schedules and deadlines. + Deliver accurate and timely service reports, core returns and warranty documents. + Maintain a professional and proper personal appearance following company policy. + Oversee and maintain company provided field service truck, equipment, and tooling. + Performs all other duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + A minimum of 5 years related natural gas and diesel repair experience. + Experienced with safely diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and tuning natural gas and diesel engines, generators, and other related equipment. + Proficient with Caterpillar service software programs e.g., Cat Electronic Technician, SIS Web, DBS and SIMSI + Must have necessary hand, pneumatic and electrical diagnostic tools (up to ¾” drive). + Ability and willingness to work closely with a team. + Willing to travel and work out of town. + Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules as needed. + Attention and focus on detail and quality. + Maintain a clean work area and contamination control expectations. + Self-motivated and able to always work safely with limited supervision. + Ability to communicate effectively. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
