JOB SUMMARY
This role is joining our Revenue Cycle Epic Builders Program. This role involves the support and maintenance of both external vendor applications and bolt-on technologies that contribute to our Revenue Cycle ecosystem. In addition, you are accountable to join with end users to know the workflow and its interdependencies and make corrective system adjustments or enhancements. You are the central point of communication for an assigned set of users and coordinate all activities on behalf of our Revenue Cycle Builders team. This position assists with the testing, recommendations for corrective actions, and resolution of problems within the software application. This role reports directly to the Manager of Revenue Cycle Systems and does not have any direct reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
\n\nFunctional and technical knowledge on the associated application and Scott and White workflows; apply good knowledge of the technology (application) and enterprise processes (integrated workflows); and join closely with all associated teams to drive holistic patient perspective.\nProvide in-depth testing and documentation of workflows, data collections, end-user report details, and other technical issues associated with the application, with vendor and internal stakeholder consideration.\nCreate, modify, and track system build timely and effectively\nCreate and execute test scripts for new system builds.\nProvide Application Support, Implement system updates and changes, and communicate those changes to super users and end users.\nEngage, manage, communicate, and earn the care and respect of all stakeholders.\nHead business partners and technical team to define, document, and review business system requirements to continuously improve organizational efficiency.\nAssist IS managers and work with various teams to help them better know about Scott & White's organizational policies, procedures, and business operations and to translate those needs into specialized application specifications.\nSolve problems by studying business issues and requirements, examining both data and workflows, and synthesizing key messages.\n\n\n
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
\n\nDeep Epic application knowledge to build, test, report, help and train—specifically in Epic HB/PB Resolute + Workbench reporting\nAbility to work well in team environments.\nProficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software applications.\nDemonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals.\nSelf-motivated who can identify and resolve issues and advance personal knowledge.\nAbility to execute complex tasks through organization and details-energized approach.\nGrow experience in the knowledge of end-user workflow and owning the technical components of that workflow.\nDemonstrates excellent mutual communication skills among facility customers and team members.\nA quick learner of software and information technology, and motivated to learn new applications.\n\nExperience in Hospital Business or Clinic environment is preferred.
