Here’s What You Need

·       Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Healthcare, or relevant field. (Preferred)

·       4 Years Relevant IS/healthcare related experience required with no degree. (Required) or

·       2 Years Relevant IS/healthcare related experience required with an Associate's degree. (Required) or

·       1 Year Relevant IS/healthcare related experience required with a Bachelor's degree. (Required)

 

What You Will Do

EpicCare Link Support Specialist/Trainer provides end user support with at the elbow training, system support and access management to Community Providers, provider staff and other non-THR healthcare facilities for EpicCare Link.

·       Provide at the elbow instructor led training to external end users. Answer questions and support end user with navigation of the application. Review ongoing changes with customers. Support end users with new version release upgrades and interim updates. Develops supplemental training tools for customers such as tip sheets, PowerPoint presentations, and email communication. 70%

·       Provide support by understanding and articulating EpicCare Link capabilities, activities, and workflows to end users. Troubleshoot problems or questions from end users to provide education and solutions. Adheres to THR and ITS policies, procedures, and standards. Offers fresh insights to help others overcome mental blocks and think creatively. Challenges others to think through implications, generate possibilities, and develop solutions. Consider the ideas, needs and suggestions of team members. Provides system-wide project go-live support to meet ITS objectives. Work with application analyst to roll out new functionality to end users. 10%

·       Manage request and incident tickets consistent with established ITIL processes working with second level of support and or ancillary teams as needed. Provide customer support and 2nd level troubleshooting to resolve access and application related issues as needed. Administer the day-to-day activities to ensure communication of time-critical information and to maintain consistent customer service levels. Provide after hour on-call customer support as needed

·       Provide support of all external users accessing EpicCare Link by processing (secure data) account via EpicCare Link account request processes: Activate/Change/Terminate accounts. Provisioning, modifying and removing user access. Contract Management: Obtaining, validating, and maintaining required Service Agreements. Complete mini-credentialling process for non-affiliated providers. Work closely with the external users Security Administrators to ensure approved end user access. Build and maintain external sites, patient groups and provider groups within the EHR. Provide auditing of end users, sites, and provider groups. Assist with privacy reviews, as needed. 5%

·       Adhere to THR and ITS policies, procedures and standards with minimal supervision. Offers fresh insights to help others overcome mental blocks and think creatively. Challenge others to think through implications, generate possibilities and develop solutions. Considers the ideas, needs and suggestions of other group members. Prioritizes work appropriately, carrying out assignments with the appropriate level of direction and completing tasks within deadlines.
