Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Responsible for defining data conversion scope, estimation of efforts, and timelinesInteracts with Operational and IT personnel in identifying and evaluating data requirements for to meet user and organizational requirementsWorks directly with Operations and provides input on system capabilitiesDevelops extract specifications for source systemsWork with vendors to obtain and validate data from source systemsCreate scripts to parse legacy data and import into relational databasesCreate SQL scripts to analyze and standardize data and make it accessible to the interface engineDevelop interfaces on various interface engines to consume, transform, and load legacy data to EpicWork with Epic implementation application teams to map legacy data to EpicTroubleshoot and resolve data conversion related issuesWork with operational users, including clinicians to validate converted dataBuilds rapport and always promotes teamwork by maintaining a professional and positive attitude, working to maintain open and professional lines of communication with all end users and colleagues, and utilizing key change management principlesLead meetings as needed, prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts and manage a project planMeet application deliverables, project timelines, and delivery weekly status reportingTimely project and data tracking with input of weekly time trackingPerforms other related duties assigned by supervisorIn an emergency, performs other duties necessary for the welfare of patients or the efficient operations of the institutionThe Team

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience5+ years of recent experience with an implementationExperience with Epic Data ConversionExperience in working with HL7 messages and interface development developing HL7 interfaces, FHIR, or XML interfaceExperience developing healthcare interfaces with various interface engines (InterSystems Health Connect preferred)Experience writing advanced SQL queriesEpic certification and experience in Bridges or another Epic application (e.g. Beaker, Radiant, or EpicCare Ambulatory)Limited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you servePreferred
