Job Details The Epic Operational Lead works closely with facility staff in the support of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/ Epic. This individual also leads and supports all health information technology initiatives. Our EPIC Operational Lead will: Collaborate with subject-matter experts and clinical IT teams to optimize documentation in the electronic medical record. Serve as a champion for clinical projects to facilitate user acceptance and adoption of new tools and workflows to improve quality and patient safety. Serve as a Liaison between clinical staff members and IT in all project initiatives. Display expertise in both clinical and non-clinical application tools, providing leadership in the design, testing, education, implementation, and maintenance phases of projects. Utilize clinical and analytical skills in evaluating proposed projects and forming recommendations. Oversee facility training staff and provides support in the development of professional and personal growth. Serve to guide meaningful use of the electronic medical record to ensure that regulatory and quality guidelines are met (ex: Promoting Interoperability). What you’ll bring: 5+ Years in a clinical progressive role 2+ Years’ experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR), preferably EPIC experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field of study from an accredited university is required Master’s degree strongly preferred Licensure: Clinical License (New York Licensed Registered Nurse RN, Nurse Practitioner NP, or Physician’s Assistant PA) Salary Range USD $110,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
