THIS ROLE IS A HYBRID POSITION REQUIRING FREQUENT ON-SITE WORK- MUST BE WITHIN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE
EPIC certification preferred; if not certified, must become EPIC certified within 3 weeks of completing the mandatory EPIC training sessions.
Must be available to travel for EPIC training the week of 3/31/2025.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
2-3 years of experience working with Epic systems or similar EHR platform required.
High School diploma with 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
Epic certification in Healthy Planet, Care Management, and VBC/VBPM preferred.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and configuration of the Healthy Planet, Care Mgmt, & VBC VBPM modules ensuring they meet the specific needs of clinical departments.
Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Customize the Healthy Planet, Care Mgmt, & VBC VBPM modules to align with the clinical and operational requirements.
Design and configure the Epic modules to meet the needs of the healthcare organization.
Conduct thorough system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure the system meets quality and performance standards before go-live.
Work with registries, reporting workbench, decision support tools (Health Maintenance, OurPractice Advisories), and integration with patient and provider outreach tools (MyChart, Link)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing and implementation phases.
Analyze current population health management, care coordination, and value-based care workflows and identify opportunities for improvement and system enhancements.
Conduct thorough system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure the system meets quality and performance standards before go-live.
Develop training materials and participate in training sessions for end-users.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the system post-implementation, addressing user issues and concerns promptly.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and procedures.
Facilitate regular meetings and communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
