Summary Under general supervision, the Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) applies AIX/Linux skills and job knowledge in procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to Epic Operational Database, Copath, Sunquest, Cloverleaf and other services supported. Epic ODBA team members will provide escalated line of support for end users who utilize services provided by our AIX/Linux servers and Epic systems. Daily tasks will focus on deploying and maintaining systems utilized within Hospital Sister's Health System Informational Technology systems. This role is 100% remote in our remote-eligible states. We are accepting applicants that can work remotely and live in AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, MT, NC, NE, NV, TN, TX, OH, WA, or WI. Qualifications Education Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent plus three (3) years of experience in AIX/Linus system administration, networking, IT architecture, or other related information technology field may be accepted in lieu of an Associates Degree. Experience Three (3) years of experience in AIX/Linux systems administration, storage, networking, backup, or other related information technology field is preferred, preferably in healthcare. (This experience is required in addition to the experience that would be required in lieu of Associates degree.) 1-3 years of experience with AIX Enterprise level storage, Networking, Backup is preferred. 1 year of Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) experience is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) certification or accreditation is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
