JOB SUMMARY
\nThis job is a senior role that is capable of studying, developing and implementing complex user identity (EMP record), user role (template) and other types of security change within the organization, Epic, and its related systems. They know about the complexity of the entire Epic Security Model well beyond just the Epic Security Certification and perform risk based testing of identity access and security system requests and can fulfill, develop new functionality or escalate them accordingly. They fulfill and help user access requests as it relates to the Epic System in the form of ad-hoc, bulk and project requests for additional users, user access and major changes to the Epic System. Lastly, they monitor for issues, respond to help needs and participate in Epic, Information Services, and Information Security processes and represent accordingly.
\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
\n\nIs the functional and technical Subject Matter Expert on the Epic Security application and workflows
\n\nIs the functional and technical Subject Matter Expert on the Epic Security application and workflows.\nProvides quality knowledge of the technology (application) and enterprise processes (integrated workflows) and unite closely with all Epic application teams to drive holistic Epic Security management.\nReview user access needs, develop access roles, and add/change/delete user access.\nSecurity template/ sub-template creation and modification.\nCreate regular, audit related, reconciliation and ad-hoc reports on system usage and user activity, user changes and security related events.\nConduct regular reviews of the Epic system to identify real and/or potential security access weaknesses.\nWork with business partners and technical team to define, document, and review security requirements to help new projects.\nApprove, prepare, manage and migrate security changes.\nParticipate in the planning, development, and deployment of Epic access control standards and process into production. Develop helping documentation and procedures for these processes.\nAct as a resource for Client departments and business units on technical Epic security measures.\nCreate and manage workflow processes for granting/removing Epic access.\nManage Service Now queue; oversees the Incident Management process as queue owner.\nParticipate in change control processes including approving change control requests.\nEstablish policies, standards and procedures as it relates to Epic access and security functions and partners with others on such when required.\nPerform other duties as assigned in a competent, professional and courteous manner.\n\nKEY SUCCESS FACTORS
\n\nFunctional and technical Subject Matter Expert for security model (e.g. EMP record and templates), access and authorization functions within Epic.\nDeep Epic access and security knowledge to build, test, help and train.\nAbility to work well in team environments.\nAdvanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (data testing, data import/export, functions, etc.).\nProficient with word processing and email software applications.\nDemonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals.\nSelf-motivated person who can identify and resolve issues and advance personal knowledge.\nAbility to execute complex tasks through organization and details motivated approach.\nExcellent reciprocal communication skills, among facility customers and team members.\nExceptional written skills including email correspondence.\nA quick learner of software and information technology, and motivated to learn new applications.\nExperience in Hospital Business or Clinic environment preferred.\n\nBENEFITS

QUALIFICATIONS
\n\nEDUCATION: Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification\nEXPERIENCE: 3 years of EPIC security experience.\n\n
