Primary Function:
The primary function of the Beacon Oncology Senior Analyst is to lead the design, build, configuration, testing, implementation, and optimization of the Epic Beacon Oncology module. This role focuses on leading the enhancement of oncology workflows and clinical practices within the healthcare organization. The senior analyst ensures that the Beacon module is effectively integrated into clinical workflows, providing comprehensive support to healthcare providers and administrative staff. This includes working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, configuring the system to meet those needs, providing training and ongoing support to end-users, and continuously seeking opportunities to recommend and improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and configuration of the Beacon Oncology module ensuring it meets the specific needs of clinical departments.Coordinate and collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather and document requirements.Plan and design the customization of the Beacon Oncology module to align with the clinical and operational requirements.Analyze current oncology workflows to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.Collaborate and work closely with other Epic analysts, IT staff, and clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of the Beacon Oncology module with other Epic modules and systems. Coordinate thorough system testing, analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure the system meets quality and performance standards before go-live.Develop training materials and lead training sessions for end-users, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure effective use of the system.Oversee and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the system post-implementation, addressing user issues and concerns promptly.Lead regular meetings and communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.Education and Experience Requirements:
