THIS ROLE IS A HYBRID POSITION REQUIRING FREQUENT ON-SITE WORK- MUST BE WITHIN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE

EPIC certification preferred; if not certified, must become EPIC certified within 3 weeks of completing the mandatory EPIC training sessions.

Must be available to travel for EPIC training the week of 3/31/2025.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics or a related field.. 5 years of demonstrated experience working with Epic systems or similar EHR platform required.   High School diploma with 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of patient engagement strategies and best practices. Epic MyChart Certification preferred

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:    

Lead the implementation, configuration and optimization of the Epic Patient Experience modules to align with organizational workflows and enhance patient engagement. Plan and design the customization of MyChart Patient Experience Platform, MyChart Care Companion, and MyChart Bedside to meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers. Lead the implementation and management of Hello World SMS for patient communication and engagement. Plan, develop and execute campaigns using Cheers - Campaigns to improve patient outreach and education. Coordinate the set up and maintenance of Cheers - Call Management to streamline patient communication and support. Coordinate the configuration and support the Welcome Patient Kiosk to improve patient check-in processes and reduce wait times. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements. Lead the development and maintenance of the documentation for system configurations, workflows, and training materials. Lead and facilitate training sessions for end-users, including healthcare providers and administrative staff, to ensure effective use of the Epic Patient Experience modules. Oversee and provide go-live support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Epic Patient Experience modules post-implementation. Plan, create and execute test scripts to validate system functionality and ensure accurate configuration. Identify and resolve issues discovered during testing phases, including unit testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Lead the development of reports and dashboards to monitor patient engagement metrics and identify areas for improvement. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Epic Patient Experience modules. Lead project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions. Act as a liaison between end-users and the Epic implementation team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
