GCG is currently seeking an ERP Specialist to join our growing Automation & Factory Solutions division!
As our ERP Specialist, you’ll manage configuration and optimization of our Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system, ensuring it becomes a powerful tool for supporting and enhancing our distribution operations. Your expertise will enable seamless functionality across departments, streamline critical processes, and deliver data-driven insights that empower strategic decision-making.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system improvements and tailor solutions to meet our business needs. Combining your analytical, technical, and planning skills with strong communication abilities, you will play a key role in driving efficiency and innovation across the organization.
You’ll support multiple locations and projects across the division, ensuring our ERP systems consistently deliver value and enable operational excellence. What you’ll do
Administer, configure, and support our Prophet 21 ERP system Collaborate with Sales, Warehousing, Purchasing, Customer Service, Accounting and other departments as necessary to identify needs and implement system enhancements and meet the needs of the business efficiently and effectively Gather requirements from division leaders for ERP functionality improvements Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring optimal system utilization, and assist in troubleshooting technical issues Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency Develop and generate reports to provide actionable business insights Assist in system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability Work with IT and third-party vendors for system integration and customization Travel to company locations or client sites as necessary for system implementation, support, or training
What you’ll bring
Bachelor's degree with focus on information systems, analytics, or related field preferred but not required in lieu of relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years of experience administering and managing ERP systems, with a strong focus on industrial operations; previous experience with Epicor Prophet21 strongly preferredStrong knowledge of database administration Knowledge of Financials, Procurement, Inventory Management, Planning, and Warehousing areas of the ERP system Experience providing end-user support in a ticketing system Experience in working in Microsoft Office environment Strong technical aptitude Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in generating reports from reporting applications and interpreting data reports Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
