Title: Epoxy Sales Account Manager
Location: This is a remote position with desired candidate located in the Chicago, IL area
Salary: $130,000 - $180,000
Focus: The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing a specific portfolio of existing and prospective accounts. In this role you will cultivate relationships and identify opportunities to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a sales professional with product and market knowledge who focuses on Value-Based Selling.
Epoxy Sales Account Manager Essential Functions:
Creates and maintains proper relationships with customers and internal Olin functional groups, achieving an understanding of expressed and implied needs Responsible for larger corporate accounts Resolves internal and external customer issues and/or concerns, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills Demonstrates a value-based selling approach Negotiates and administers supply agreements/contracts Uses CRM and other tools to communicate knowledge of assigned customers, the markets within which they participate, the associated supply chains and the overarching competitive landscape, recommending profitability strategies Demonstrates continuous active engagement through contribution of creative ideasEpoxy Sales Account Manager Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree*; Business or Technical field preferred 7+ years of full-time work experience with a track record of success in current role; experience with Epoxy preferred Previous negotiation experience preferred Self-starter that is adaptive to change possessing the resourcefulness needed to overcome unexpected challenges Good time management skills with a strong bias for action and ability to independently plan and complete work Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness Ability to travel 20-50% of time, usually overnight – travel level varies with assigned accounts. Travel by plane frequently required. Must possess a valid US Driver's license Sales Force (CRM) experience preferred Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
