In accordance with established procedures and policies, the Equipment Aide establishes and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment. The Equipment Aide monitors all supplies and equipment, and facilitates maintenance in an assigned area.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for accurate record keeping and quality checks of equipment. Identify needed repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of unit specific equipment/environment according to procedures. Enter online requests for repairs to facilities and keep accurate records of maintenance performed. Assist with assigned quality monitoring including, but not limited to, maintaining refrigerator and temperature logs and point of care testing. Notify appropriate personnel when respective quality indicators are out of normal range. Order unit specific supplies/equipment and ensures that adequate amounts are available on the unit.
