The community you’ll be caring for: East Orlando Campus
· AdventHealth East Orlando, a 265-bed community hospital, has been serving East Orlando residents since 1941 as an innovative local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area
· A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project upgraded the hospital to 265 beds, with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience
· Annual number of emergency cases: 89,018
The role you’ll contribute:
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Maintains accurate inventory of equipment, monitoring rental equipment budget and offering insight to reduce rental equipment throughout the Campus. Reports monthly on expenditures and develops strategy to manage equipment more efficiently and accurately.

· Acts as a liaison between Florida Hospital and outside vendors to reduce the time equipment
is out of service (beds, wheelchairs, stretchers etc.).
· Assists departments in capital planning for new equipment /
Manages equipment rental invoices.
· Monitors monthly equipment rental costs and is proactive in reducing rental costs at a campus
level.
· Assists in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tagging of equipment and monitoring
location of equipment.
· Works in conjunction with Engineering, Biomed and Asset Management, as needed, to
coordinate repair of broken equipment. With Biomed, monitors and tracks pumps. With
Asset Management, defines useful life of currently owned equipment, reviewing service
contracts and recommending repair/replace scenarios.
· Accountable for equipment rental budget and offers process improvement ideas.
· Responsible for applicable reports, development of process improvement strategies and cost
analysis for areas of responsibility.
· Influences implementation of equipment initiatives across the facility.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
· Proficiency in e-mail, calendar, spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.)
· Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills
· Ability to manage stress and handle challenging situations and personalities
· Ability to be highly organized and manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize without supervision
· Detail-oriented
· Self-motivated
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED :

· Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, supply chain or related field
· Experience in Lean Process improvement methodologies and application to supply chain management
