In your role as an equipment designer, you will play a decisive role in the further development of production, particularly in the area of our flow products. You will also play a key role in the further development of our actuators, positioners, temperature transmitters and sensors. Your influence ranges from Minden, NRW, Germany to international contexts.You will work independently in a team on the development of new concepts and the design of production and test equipment, and actively contribute to continuous improvement. In addition, you will assume significant responsibility for our state-of-the-art flow calibration stands in the water and air sector.

Your responsibilities

Design and development of equipment/testing equipment with a focus on measurement and control technology, particularly in the field of flow technologyCreating holistic concepts that take into account technical, economic and project-related aspectsCompetent creation of detailed specifications for equipment projects, including precise formulation of technical requirements, performance parameters and interface requirementsContinuous improvement of existing test systems and their technical supportEnsuring the smooth integration of new products into existing or new production processesCollaborating with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to develop innovative and efficient solutionsEnsuring compliance with quality standards and guidelines in all development phases

Your background

Completed studies in electrical engineering or a similar field with a focus on measurement and control technologyProven professional experience in the design and development of operating equipment, ideally in special machine construction or a related industryAbility to create holistic concepts taking into account technical, economic and project-related aspectsCompetence in the precise writing of detailed specifications for equipment projects, including clear formulation of technical requirements, performance parameters and interface requirementsComprehensive knowledge of control technology, sensors, actuators and measurement technology with a particular focus on flow measurementKnowledge in the programming and application of control systems, especially in the context of flow technologyExperience in the creation and interpretation of circuit diagrams for electrical controls and control systemsExperienced in analyzing and statistically evaluating processes and systems using tools such as Minitab and MS PowerBIExcellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problemsTeam player with excellent communication skillsGood written and verbal communication skills in German and English
