As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team oriented environment. **Responsibilities include:** + Support production activities through maximizing up-time and performance of critical process equipment. + Assume ownership of maintaining and calibrating production tools in accordance with specifications. + Improve tool up-time availability and utilization efficiency. + Improve Preventive Maintenance strategies and protocols. + Conduct systematic troubleshooting of equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime. + Work closely with process engineers to understand equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications. + Solve critical equipment issues, leveraging on experience and systematic approach. + Identify and pursue potential opportunities for hardware capability enhancement. + Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve quality, cost, and cycle time **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Applied Science, Physics or related engineering degree + 8 years of relevant engineering experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment in any of the following modules: PVD, CVD, IMPLANT, EPI, CMP, PLASMA + Able to read and understand electrical, mechanical and instrumental schematics **Preferred Qualifications:** + Equipment expertise in any of the following modules: PVD, CVD, IMPLANT, EPI, CMP, PLASMA AMAT, EBARA, ASM, AXCELIS equipment and processes. + Willing and able to rapidly learn, own, and contribute to performance of all above tool sets not currently experienced on + Experience with tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation + Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and SPC techniques. Experienced with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors. + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills + Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions + Ability to take the initiative and drive for results + Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery + Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment + Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationship _Texas Instruments is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse, inclusive work environment.
