Equipment Finance - Emerging Middle Markets Inside Sales Position

In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in sourcing new clients or growing existing relationships in a given product or specialty

Understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within the context of individual deals and client relationships

Lead moderately complex transactions in partnership with coverage teams for specialty products, including by analyzing potential opportunities, structuring, proposing, and selling tailored financial solutions to clients; lead internal coordination and submit transactions to management or independent risk for approval

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives

Independently resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging a solid understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Partner with product management functional partners to provide feedback on evolving market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively

Contribute to large-scale planning related to a given product or specialty’s business objectives

Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Background in sales and experience in originating new prospective relationships

Qualifying and closing a variety of lease and loan financing products with a good command for analyzing financial results

Work cooperatively with internal sales and credit team to submit, credit approve, document and fund transactions ranging from $100,000+

Work with manager to build a marketing plan to provide coverage for a large geographic area.

Financial Services Experience

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.

Highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving result

Demonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects and deadlines

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Job Expectations:

This position will be expected to add funded volume in excess of $30MM from a combination of new and existing relationships.

Occasional Travel may be needed
