**Background**
Business Banking Equipment Finance (BBEF) provides equipment finance solutions to Business Banking and Small Business clients. Business Banking Equipment Finance Leasing Officers must be experienced business professionals with the ability to establish relationships with internal partners, bank partners and external clients.
The Leasing Officer is responsible for collecting and packaging information required to submit a schedule request to our Documentation department. The position also requires the ability work with clients on documentation requirements, pricing transactions, resolving documentation issues and providing equipment finance solutions to clients with smaller opportunities.
This position requires strong organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Credit experience is preferred. Primary responsibilities include:
+ Package and drive all transactions through the closing process. This includes system set-up and information maintenance, invoice collection and review, credit approval review for policy compliance, working with internal partners to address any concerns or policy exceptions, shepherding transactions through the documentation process, resolving problems, internal and external communication, and acting as liaison between the BBEF Originators, Bank Relationship Managers, clients and business partners.
+ For smaller transactions, responsible for opportunity evaluation, pricing, structuring, term sheet preparation and presentation, all on a direct basis with the Relationship Managers and clients. May also be required to present via Webex to the Small Business Relationship Managers and Solution Advisors.
+ Follow up on any outstanding fund and follows and/or progress payments with the BBEF Originators, Relationship Managers, and/or clients.
**Required Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified**
+ 3+ years of lending or banking experience; equipment finance/leasing and credit underwriting experience preferred.

+ Customer/client industry knowledge
+ Proven negotiation skills; sound business judgment
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Highly organized with strong multitasking skills

+ Knowledge of other bank products beneficial
+ Proficiency with MS Office software applications
+ Basic Excel proficiency required
+ Strong presentation skills
+ Exhibits strong team work skills
+ SuperTrump, Dealflo and LMS experience preferred, but not required
+ Credit Center, Credit Toolkit, AWARE and Salesforce experience is also preferred but not required
+ High energy individual who acts with a sense of urgency and can drive transactions through completion
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
