Job DescriptionThis is a cross-functional position that provides production support to multiple groups within Operations Services or enterprise wide. The Operations Processor will execute a variety of routine tasks within multiple operational systems and interacts with multiple internal partners. Duties may include functions related to transaction processing, data entry, archiving, researching, machine troubleshooting and vendor/client interaction over the phone or email. May have direct contact with third-party vendors and/or external customers. Will research exceptions and escalate issues to management as appropriate.We are looking for a Proactive leader who can work independently with little supervision and possesses strong problem solving and analytical skills related to accounting functions.

Essential Functions

Processes transactions and maintains various accounts.  Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed.  Conducts research on discrepancies and makes appropriate corrections or adjustments.  Responds to and resolves inquiries.  Posts data and/or checks and verifies data.  Runs and prepares reports and analyses.Assist manager with staff evaluations, developing training materials, and assist with training schedules. Gather data and update monthly stats. Attend designated meetings in manager's absence.Ability to resolve issues both process and employee related.   Establish strong working relationships and provide great customer service to internal partners and external customers.  Provide training, leadership and support to department team members.    Monitors and analyzes unapplied suspense on contracts and funds in Suspense ledgers.Working with other U.S. Bank business lines on misdirected payments, completing end of day balancing activities, monitoring shared email boxes, Creating special reports. Processing of End of Lease payments, Processing of payments from GL accounts, Monitoring checks in the CAT system.Adding templates to contracts, Processing of incoming mailResearching, analyzing and verifying checks for depositCreating deposits for the appropriate bank account, Scanning deposits (electronic deposit) to applicable bank accounts Monitoring incoming electronic funds (ach credits, wires) in the appropriate bank accounts, Post entries and / or checks, wires, ACH credits to lease contracts, Processing payment uploadsResearching and Processing of Web Decisioning payments. Processing of error batches for Lockbox, COLT and CDA paymentsAssists Cash Applications Manager with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalentFour or more years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principlesAbility to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret dataAbility to manage multiple tasksProficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.65 - $26.02
