Position Overview & Responsibilities: The Equipment Lifecycle Manager is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of company-owned facilities and equipment, evaluating structural integrity, electrical systems, and asset lifecycle to determine end-of-life status, maintenance needs, and replacement schedules. This role plays a key part in developing long-term asset management strategies and associated budgets. Travel, including overnight stays, is required.\n

Major Areas of Accountability:\n\nPlan, schedule, and perform on-site assessments across all operational regions to evaluate the condition of equipment, electrical systems, and building structures (both interior and exterior).\nMaintain a centralized database of facility conditions, equipment lifecycles, and asset replacement forecasts to support data-driven decision-making.\nIdentify and recommend facility improvements, repairs, and upgrades based on assessment findings.\nAssist in the development of project scopes, technical documentation, and work specifications for facility upgrades and repairs.\nSource and analyze vendor quotes for recommended repairs to facilitate accurate budgeting and approval processes.\n\n

Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:\n
Education & Technical Skills:\n\nHigh School Diploma required; additional technical training or certification in facility management, electrical systems, or construction is a plus.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.\n\n
Industry Experience:\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in hog farm facility maintenance, repair, and\/or equipment installation.\nHands-on experience performing electrical inspections and troubleshooting facility electrical systems.\nStrong knowledge of equipment functionality, construction techniques, and blueprint interpretation.\n\n
Additional Competencies:\n\nDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communicator with the ability to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nFamiliarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred\n\n
