Ecolab is seeking for a Equipment Maintenance Manager Iberia to join our Engineering Team located in Madrid or Barcelona in Spain:

What You Will Do:
Implementation of new organization:
Lead and manage a service team in the field.
Partner with the Project Manager to design and implement the new Equipment Maintenance Organization for Iberia .
Understand the needs of the Divisions (Nalco Water Light, Food & Beverage, Paper & Textile Care) along with those of Engineering to determine the processes and resources needed to provide value added service to our customers and accelerate equipment sales
Partner with SHE, Equipment Customer Service, IT, HR, Finance, Sales Support and the divisions to create the processes and work practices to successfully implement this organization.
Implement the phase 1 in East Spain by end of Q2 2025
Expand to the full Iberia scope in 2026
Preventative Maintenance Program:
Develop a preventative maintenance program and transition the organization from predominately corrective to a preventative maintenance services
Run partnerships with external subcontractors when and where needed. Efficient and cost effective balance with Ecolab service technician team
Review & Analyse alongside the District Managers, the current maintenance contracts; Provide input to ensure the Divisions implement future preventative maintenance contracts that ensure preventative maintenance is a revenue stream for the division and include clarity on what is an is not included.
Drive Spare Parts Sales through empowerment & equipment of technicians with the right tools to recommend enhancements, repairs, refurbishment etc. to clients and provide job quotes.
Develop the work processes to issue work orders, report completed jobs and communicate status to the Divisions and value to the customer (Maintenance Software)
Develop with software partner and implement service-maintenance planning software
Define communication strategy to keep customers, sales organization and engineering informed about all service/maintenance activities
Sales support on site
Cost Control:
Implement a work order process that ensures jobs are correctly billed to the right division and team cost is charged out proportionally to the divisions
Develop the necessary rules and controls to determine when a Subcontractor is used to support Ecolab’s internal team and ensure correct billing to the client via the Divisions
Manage the subcontracting company to ensure service levels, geographic coverage, safety standards and collaboration strategy continues to meet Ecolab’s needs
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of 3-4 Team Leaders and indirectly the full team of Equipment Specialists covering all Spain & Portugal
Develop a technical and soft skill onboarding and training plan to ensure the team has the tools and know-how to excel in their role and is familiar with technologies across all 4 divisions
Create a continuous learning culture as new innovations are introduced
Drive Team Engagement alongside the Team Managers and establish a focus on Career Development; Partner with HR to create a campus recruitment strategy that enables us to build the next generation of Equipment Specialists
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical engineer or a related field of study.

Great communicator
Experience in managing equipment maintenance programs and teams 5+ Years
English (Intermediate-Advanced) & Fluent in Spanish
