**Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on various shop equipment. This includes working on forklifts, presses, air compressors, spray equipment, welding machines, CNC machines, and overhead garage doors. The technician will complete tasks such as greasing, parts swaps, cleanouts, and fluid changes. Additionally, they will troubleshoot equipment over the phone with OEM or vendor representatives to ensure timely repairs and perform all work safely. The use of overhead cranes to move equipment will be required. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment including forklifts, presses, air compressors, spray equipment, welding machines, CNC machines, and overhead garage doors. + Complete tasks such as routine greasing, parts swaps, cleanouts, and fluid changes. + Troubleshoot equipment over the phone with OEM or vendor representatives to ensure quick repairs. + Perform all work safely and adhere to safety guidelines. + Use overhead cranes as needed to move equipment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with pneumatic/air compressor repair and troubleshooting. + Previous mechanical repair experience including gears, rollers, and overhead doors. + Mig welding, blueprint reading, and general welding skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift or trailer repair experience is a plus. + Fabrication and welding experience. **Why Work Here?** The company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for training and internal growth. Paint and blast operations are conducted in a separate building. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility to start closer to 8 am if needed.
