Position- Maintenance/Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Address- Harrisburg PA

Shift/Hours- Hours – Monday – Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30PM, plus some Saturday AM hours

Pay Rate-$29-$35/hour

Position Responsibilities:

Servicing skid steers, material handlers, forklifts, front end loaders Filter changes Fluid changes Air filters Greasing Trouble shooting – electronics, hydraulics, engine Compliance with company site policies and safety procedures Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE): hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots (you must provide boots) Notifies supervisor of currently needed or anticipated repairs Possibly run equipment on pad to ensure equipment works properly Keep work area clean Any other duty or assignment requested by management
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to operate heavy machinery Troubleshooting Strong hydraulics and electronic maintenance skills. Strong knowledge of machinery operation
Physical Requirements: Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE): hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, safety vests, gloves (company provided), and steel-toe boots (you must provide) Continuous bending, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time Able to lift 50 pounds – from floor to 4 feet - frequently Climbing in and out of machinery – 2 feet from floor to step then 8” to platform Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
