Teledyne Relays (a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC), is a manufacturer of Electromechanical Relays, Solid State Relays, Power Controllers, RF COAX Switches and RF switching systems. The primary manufacturing facilities are located in the United States, Taiwan and France. Will need to perform quality inspections on all parts produced, bagged or packaged in carriers. Be open to learning and acquiring job skills through continual cross-training of all/any departmental equipment as needed, while following Company policies, rules/regulations and safety procedures. Maintain updated paperwork per specifications, maintain operation sheets, and check for in service calibration tags for all tools and equipment being utilized for current labeling. Housekeeping, keep all areas clean, organized and practice proper storage of tools.Other duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED); vocational school training acceptable. 6 months to 1 year of previous related experience is preferred. Candidate must be able to work with a microscope, small hand tools, have good manual dexterity and good hand/eye/tool coordination. Must be familiar with and have basic computer skills to be able to make data entries on a daily basis for labor hours and for inventory control. Be cross trained on equipment as needed, and continue to build knowledge, skills and abilities throughout the department. Must be able to work as a team as well as independently. Must have good oral and written communication skills and know basic math. Be able to interpret instructions provided orally or written via diagram or schedule form PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate will occasionally stand, walk, stoop, bend, knee, crouch; be able to lift and carry 10-24 lbs; you will frequently need to hear to listen or talk to ask questions or provide feedback; will continuously need to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.VISION REQUIREMENTS: be able to identify and distinguish colors, be required to use close vision, have the ability to adjust focus and determine depth.WORK ENVIRONMENT: you will be exposed to vapors, airborne particles or toxic chemical (safely below occupational limits); work near moving mechanical parts and/or be in contact with moving mechanical equipment.In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Relays requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).

  

Salary Range:

$29,480.00-$39,490.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
