Your Opportunity:  Venture Solutions Inc., a Taylor company, is seeking a 3rd Shift Inserting Equipment Operator to join our team in our West Sacramento location. This is an entry-level position with great opportunity for growth within the company. Venture Solutions offers you a clean, well-lit, and safe environment so that you can grow into your full potential!

Your Shift:

Sunday – Thursday9pm – 5:30am (3rd Shift)

Your Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate inserting equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.Visually inspect forms throughout run for qualityCoordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.

You Must Have:

Strong attention to detail and be comfortable working independentlyAbility to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerancesHigh degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.High degree of mechanical abilityGood reading ability.

Requirements Within This Position:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.50 – $18.50. The actual hourly base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
