We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious **Equipment Operators** to join the team at **Heart of Florida** **Landfill** **in Lake Panasoffkee, FL** . Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge _plus_ , but willing to train the right candidate. _Th_ _e p_ _osition is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week. Pay Range for this position is $18-$20+ DOE._ **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed + Spreading and compacting trash using a Compactor + Spreading daily cover using aDozer + Excavating soil using an Excavator + Hauling soil **W** **ORKING CONDITIONS AND** **PHYSICAL** **EFFORT:** + The work environment is an outdoorlandfillsetting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
