Equipment Operator
Location: Henderson, KY
Pay Rate: $19.80 per hour
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Tuesday and Thursday: 6:40 AM - 3:30 PM
Assignment Duration: 3-6 months, with potential for extension
Mosaic is seeking a dedicated Operator to join their team at a Non-Union Distribution Facility. The Operator will be responsible for loading dry fertilizer trucks and assisting with general operations and maintenance. This role is essential to maintaining Mosaic’s commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies. Wear proper PPE, report unsafe work conditions, and actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions. Teamwork & Professionalism: Exhibit positive qualities, including reliability, approachability, and a continuous learning mindset. Training & Competency: Follow the progression program to train and achieve competency in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Operations & Maintenance: Operate in roles such as loading operator and heavy equipment operator (skid-steer and high reach). Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and truck loading stations. Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; mobile equipment operation experience preferred. Credentials: Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required upon hire. Skills: Basic computer proficiency, valid driver’s license, and competency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Physical & Environmental Requirements: Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally, climb stairs, and work at various heights. Visual & Auditory Ability: Ability to distinguish colors, read and write in English, and hear with or without correction. Mobility & Dexterity: Capable of fine hand motor skills, wearing a respirator, and working in varying outdoor conditions. Flexibility: Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed. Additional Information: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. This position may require outdoor work in hot or cold environments.#M1
