Connecting you to great benefits + Weekly Paychecks + Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays + Insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) + 401(k) w/ Company Match + Stock Purchase Plan + Education Reimbursement + Legal Insurance + Discounts What you’ll do as an Equipment Operator + Attend new site Job Safety Analysis + Safely operate and control assigned equipment + Dig pits, trenches or potholes as directed by job plan + Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up + Load and unload tools, materials and equipment from truck + Set up a safety perimeter + Perform work in all weather conditions + Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks + Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine construction path + Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance + Perform work in all weather conditions + Dig pits, trenches or potholes as directed by job plan + Drive company vehicles with equipment to and from jobsites as necessary and permitted + Safely operate and control heavy machinery including but not limited to: Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer + Utilize “Mud” mixing systems when drilling/boring + Determine bore path and locate utilities + Develop and maintain a bore schedule + Other duties as assigned What you’ll need + To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience + Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record + Experience with drill set up and design processes, is preferred Physical abilities & exposures + Must be able to perform the above for at least 8 hours per day 5 days per week. May be required to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call + Duties outlined in this position will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low. The employee will be standing, walking, climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, lifting, holding or stooping while on shift. + Ability to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses and hardhat + Ability to work in adverse weather conditions which can include but is not limited to: extreme heat and cold temperatures; inclement weather such as wind, rain, snow, sleet and dust as well as adverse driving conditions including wet roads, icy roads, and fog + Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens. + Must be able to lift/carry 55 lbs regularly and up to 100 LBS as needed with or without assistance + Routinely : work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds + Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse Prevailing Wage Job- Pay Rates Higher Than Regular Rates Noted Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
